FAQ

Cement A binding material usually made up of limestone, clay and gypsum. Primarily used as part of a mixture with aggregate to create concrete.  Cement serves as the binding material which when dries hardens as an uniformed mixture of aggregate, and cement which when in its plastic state can be fairly pliable and an ideal material for construction.

Concrete -    is a building material that consists of cement ,generally gravel and sand water and admixtures. Concrete gains it hardness after mixing and placement due to a chemical process known as hydration. The water reacts with the cement, which bonds the other components together, eventually creating a stone-like material.

Concrete Admixture - Admixtures are ingredients other than water, aggregates, hydraulic cement, and fibers that are added to the concrete batch immediately before or during mixing. A proper use of admixtures offers certain beneficial effects to concrete, including improved quality, acceleration or retardation of setting time, enhanced frost and sulfate resistance, control of strength development, improved workability, and enhanced finishability.

Decorative Concrete - Decorative concrete can be categorized as any concrete project which in addition to the standard materials required for the project. Additional materials may be used to add additional textures, patterns, and/or color to the concrete project.
